Details
The engines are housed in a structure called a nacelle.
The nacelles comprise a number of moving parts, some of which operate on a flight-by-flight basis (thrust reversers) and others for maintenance purposes.
In particular, nacelles have to contain a fire in the event of an incident in the engines, so the seals have to withstand very severe aggression.
Nacelle seals are fireproof seals. What's more, during operation, the internal pressure level is high.
As a result, nacelle seals are complex gaskets made of materials specifically developed for use in hot environments, and fire-tested to ISO2685 and AC20-135.
These seals can only be developed jointly. Our design office, experienced in collaborative work, combined with our production know-how, will enable us to develop your nacelle seals efficiently.
Our strategy of capitalizing on experience, in which we involve our customers, enables us to adopt a continuous improvement approach to our products.
