Landing gear gasket

Landing gear gaskets are bubble gaskets with a tab for fixing with a gasket cover. These gaskets have to withstand conventional environmental stresses, but they require particular attention in terms of resistance to airflow. Indeed, during the opening and closing phases, these seals are directly exposed to the air flow and can be damaged if they vibrate.
Our engineering and production expertise guarantees tailor-made solutions and continuous improvement to meet the most stringent requirements.

Landing gear doors are used to close the landing gear compartment.
These doors open and close by simple rotation on each takeoff and landing.
Landing gear are available in front and center sections at soft belly level.
The landing gear joints are not in contact with the airflow, except during takeoff and landing.
This constraint must be taken into account to define the simplest and most efficient seal, without neglecting its service life, which could be reduced during opening phases.
