Aileron seal

Aileron joints contribute to aircraft stability and performance, such as fuel consumption.
Ailerons are part of the wing. To maintain optimum aircraft performance thanks to its lift, it's imperative to avoid air leaks between the lower and upper surface of the wing, which is why aileron seals must provide a perfect seal between the ailerons and the fixed wing.
These aileron seals are generally hollow silicone seals reinforced with textile to resist mechanical stresses such as erosion or abrasion.

Details

Ailerons are control surfaces that allow the aircraft to roll.
They are located at each end of the wing to amplify its lever effect.
They provide the aircraft with good maneuverability, enabling precise turns and maintaining directional stability.
Their positions give the pilot's controls rapid response, especially in turbulence or crosswinds.
