MIL-W-4088 Type X, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX nylon webbing

MIL-W-4088 webbing is available in multiple widths, thicknesses and tensile-strength classes.
It is commonly selected when both tensile strength and controlled elasticity are required. In personnel-safety applications, some elongation can help absorb dynamic loads and reduce the severity of shock compared with a completely inelastic restraint.
