MIL-W-38282 Type I, II, III, IV aramid tubular webbing

The MIL-W-38282 specification, later associated with PIA-W-38282, covers aircraft-quality woven aramid tubular webbing.
This is an aramid webbing specification; the previous Nylon 6.6 description was inconsistent with the specification title and material field.

Technical characteristics

Material: Aramid.
Tubular construction: The woven tubular geometry provides a flexible high-strength textile element for aerospace and defence assemblies.
High strength-to-weight performance: Aramid is selected where low mass, high tensile strength and good heat resistance are important.

Typical applications

Depending on type and programme requirements, MIL-W-38282 webbing can be used in parachute subassemblies, restraint systems and other aerospace textile applications requiring aramid tubular webbing.

A high-tensile military webbing compliant with MIL-W-38282 and PIA-W-38282, highlighting its rugged woven construction engineered for heavy cargo tie-down systems and tactical transport restraint
