Protecting flight and navigation equipment is important to the reliability of the data used by the aircraft. Equipment can include Pitot probes, temperature probes, pressure probes and communication antennas, all of which can be exposed to demanding conditions both in flight and on the ground.
For ground protection against impact, ice and contamination, we manufacture custom red silicone or polyurethane protectors. They can incorporate high-visibility streamers connected by a cord so that the protection is easy to identify before operation.
These protectors can be designed for:
- rapid installation,
- resistance to rain, wind, hail, UV and de-icing fluids,
- compatibility with the equipment being protected,
- high visibility.
